Do not forget that it is people who keep those processes running and use them. Involving these people in process innovation is crucial, especially at the beginning (co-discovery) and to some extent in defining solutions (co-creation). In the end you will always have process experts making the final solution, but opportunity-finding and defining solution directions is something you do in co-creation.
